🚨 Pilates Apprenticeship Alert: Limited Spots—Apply by 10/31!

Exciting News! Applications Open for Our 2024/2025 Pilates Apprenticeship Program

We are thrilled to announce that our 3-month Apprenticeship Program is now open for applications! This program is ideal for newly certified Pilates instructors or those still completing their certification and looking for hands-on experience.

Our Apprenticeship Program is designed to help you bridge the gap between training and teaching with guidance from experienced mentors and opportunities to teach real clients. Plus, it’s free to participate and may even lead to paid teaching opportunities at Pilates Collective SLO.

Program Breakdown

  • Month 1: Observation, setting goals, and planning to complete required hours.

  • Months 2 & 3: Teach public sessions with mentorship and feedback.

Commitment: 3-10 hours per week (depending on your schedule)
Start Dates: November 15, December 1, January 15, or February 1
Application Deadline: October 31, 2024

New in July! 4-Week Series with Laurie : Pilates Unplugged!

New Reformer Unplugged Series with Laurie Starts This Sunday, 7/7 at 11 AM!

Join Laurie for a transformative 4-week series, each week focusing on a fundamental Pilates exercise. Each 60-minute session focuses on a core Pilates exercise, blending mat, reformer, and other variations to stretch, strengthen, and enhance your skills.

Single class drop-ins welcome with your regular class package.

Reformer Unplugged Weekly Focus:

  • 7/7 Week One: Teaser (core)

  • 7/14 Week Two: Swan (back extension)

  • 7/21 Week Three: Mermaid (lateral bending)

We have some fantastic updates for July including new additions to our schedule and a warm welcome to our newest instructor, Sarah Gupta! Sarah brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our studio.

  • Early mornings are back! Join Sarah at 6 AM and 7 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Start your day with an energizing Pilates session. 

  • Introducing Stretch Studio: Pilates Mobility & Stretch Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 PM with Sarah. Unlock your body's potential with our new Stretch Studio class. Perfect for improving flexibility, enhancing performance, and achieving a mind-body connection.

Get to know Sarah a little more!

Sarah has been practicing Pilates for over 8 years and teaching for more than 6 years. She is classically and comprehensively certified by second-generation master instructors. After a year of practicing Pilates, Sarah sought a deeper understanding of her practice and began her certification journey. This profound experience led her to leave her corporate job and embrace her passion as a full-time Pilates instructor.

For Sarah, Pilates is more than just an exercise method; it’s a lifestyle that has transformed both her body and mind. She loves connecting with people through Pilates and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their fitness goals. Her classes offer the perfect blend of classical and contemporary Pilates, always adhering to the core principles. You can expect to feel both strong and stretched after each session with Sarah.

Outside of teaching, Sarah is an eternal horse enthusiast, animal lover, and nature admirer. When she’s not in the studio, she enjoys spending time with her dog and horse, riding horses, and exploring the great outdoors.

Calling all dog lovers! We're co-hosting a fun event with Tired Tails at Saucelito Canyon Winery on Sunday, July 28th. This unique experience combines:

  • Leash drills and a warm-up session led by Tired Tails to get your pup comfy on their "place"

  • A full-body Pilates mat class by Pilates Collective SLO

Barrels 1.5 | 3 Week Series with Chelsey: Deepen Your Core & Refine Your Technique

Starting Thursday, April 9, this 3-week semi-private series is limited to just 3 participants, offering focused instruction and personalized attention.

What you'll experience:

  • Strengthen and Refine: Use the spine corrector, a specialized tool that promotes proper alignment and posture, to build a strong and stable core.

  • Unlock Your Flow: Master fundamental Pilates movements with expert guidance, focusing on technique and muscle engagement.

  • Personalized Support: Benefit from the intimacy of a small group setting, allowing for individualized feedback and corrections.

  • Increased Confidence: You will see and feel the difference in your body as you gain strength, flexibility, and control.

This Series is a Level 1.5 in the PCS Level System. Participants should grasp common Pilates language, concepts, and system exercises before attending a 1.5.
